It would be good, wouldn't it! As far as I can see they haven't done anything live for a while -- not sure if that's a good thing, or a bad thing. Bad, because it might mean they've stopped. Good, because it might mean they're due a tour.

Thanks Linda. It's good to see you taking the plunge and commenting on the blog; much appreciated and welcome.

I don't think I ever knew what the name of it was; always thought of it as "that spiky plant". Now the question is, will I remember? ;)

What a lovely photo. The plant is called a mahonia. There are two varieties but I don't know which one is yours.

It looks nice from the A14, but I hope you didn't spend to long looking Steve! ;)

I wasn't there myself on Sunday -- health is still troubling -- but I know you would've been made to feel very welcome.

You do get around a bit with your drawing. Rutland is quite a trek for you, isn't it? Hope it was a successful day.

Well we almost stopped at your Church on Sunday! I had been drawing in Rutland and we stayed over the Saturday night and drove back Sunday morning and at 9.45am we drove past on the A14 with the church spire in view off to the right! But we had to get back to do some things so although I was tempted (is that a sin? hehehehe...) at least we saw your Church from a distance!
