Here’s a video of an amazing choir singing Toto’s Africa — though “singing” doesn’t really cover it! They’re really superb. Find out more about them at their website here: Perpetuum Jazzile. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Vocal group Perpetuum Jazzile, conducted by its artistic director Tomaž Kozlevčar is the only Slovenian jazz choir, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Its repertoire consists of an ear-catching selection of vocal jazz and pop. The stylistically wide a cappella repertoire of Perpetuum Jazzile, sometimes accompanied by a jazz trio, ranges from the Brazilian bossa nova, swing and close harmony style to styles more closely connected to jazz – funk, gospel and pop. Perpetuum Jazzile, performing as a small or a large group of people, offers its listeners an interesting mix of vocal jazz harmonies and rhythms. Further, it touches them particularly with outstanding soloists, their vivacity and youth glow. The music of Perpetuum Jazzile, being best presented on its last album Čudna noč (Strange Night), inevitably fills the listener with energy and whispers: “Forget you’re in a hurry”.

Andrew Gosden (now 16) has been missing from his Doncaster home since 14 September 2007. The search continues.
That was awesome. I even re-tweeted it!
Thanks Kay.
They have managed some pretty spectacular effects; the thunder especially — timing those jumps must have taken an immense amount of practice.
