Where I Live

This is the part of the world I live in — just on the western edge of East Anglia. I still live within three miles of my birthplace. It’s unlikely that I’ll move away now; very happy just where I am.

Godmanchester Church
Just over the river from Huntingdon is Godmanchester; the town I grew up in, and the Church where my ministry as a Reader is now.

Ely Cathedral
In the city of Ely, the cathedral at the centre of Ely Diocese. It’s a magnificent building; often called “The Ship of the Fens”. On a clear day the cathedral can be seen from many miles away.

Walsingham
The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham; a favourite place of pilgrimage and retreat.

Icklesham
The village of Icklesham in East Sussex; the original photograph used in the header image was taken there.
