Amazing Grace In The House of the Rising Sun

Amazing Grace In The House of the Rising Sun

An interesting interpretation of two songs merged together that just seems to work, although instinctively I feel it shouldn’t. I like what the guitarist has to say about what he’s done:

Here’s my rendition of an old classic. I had heard Amazing Grace sung to the tune of The House of the Rising Sun, but I’d never heard the two put together before. It seemed appropriate to me, because it states both the problem (we were lost in sin) and the solution (we are saved by grace).

  1. Wow, that does fit scarily well. I’d like to hear Eric Burden sing it though!
