I was amazed by the quality and colour of the evening sunshine seen through this tree. And with the new camera I was able to zoom right in and capture just the image I wanted — I really like to see silhouette pictures.

Santa was kind to me yesterday, or at least, Liz was — thanks Liz, it’s great! I have a new toy to play with. And I thought it would be particularly appropriate to have old and new in this week’s Friday Foto. I can’t imagine my old brick will be retired permanently. But the much more modern and far more powerful, slimline, camera will be providing these pictures from now on — assuming, of course, I can work out how to use it properly.
