Friday Foto

Here we have a picture of the Nave of our Church — St Mary the Virgin, Godmanchester. I took it from within the Tower Vestry, looking east to the Nave Altar and beyond into the Chancel. I didn’t really expect to be able to get much of a picture with my little old camera. But with a bit of work on the levels and brightness in Fireworks I’ve been able to reveal quite a lot of detail in what was a rather dark picture.

  1. That’s a nice photo. What a beautiful place in which to worship!

    • Thanks Tom.

It is a wonderful place to place to worship. There’s a very special “atmosphere” about the building, which is difficult to convey in a photograph. I like to be there alone just as much as, if not more than, being there with hundreds of other people.

  2. It is a wonderful place. I still think of it has “my” church more than any other.

    Nice piccie dad xxx
