This is a picture of Fudge, our pet cat. He’s a bit of a clown sometimes; likes to hunt, and present us with the birds he catches; he’s a friend and companion; a nuisance when he wants to go out at three in the morning; and he even lets us live in the same house as him, though sometimes we’re not absolutely sure how welcome we are; he has sharp teeth and claws, and we have scars!

I found a short poem that could’ve been written about Fudge, when he’s having a good day — which is most of the time:
Cats are Wonderful Friends
Gentle eyes that see so much,
paws that have the quiet touch,
Purrs to signal “all is well”
and show more love than words could tell.
Graceful movements touched with pride,
a calming presence by our side –
A friendship that takes time to grow –
Small wonder why we love them so.

Andrew Gosden (now 18) has been missing from his Doncaster home since 14 September 2007. The search continues.
THat doesn’t show him at his friendliest really does it!!
At his friendliest he would be curled up in a ball with a silly look in his eyes. Trouble is, every time I get the camera out when he’s like that, he comes towards me and I can’t get the picture. Such a poser, but he wants to be in the camera, as well as the picture.
What a face!
He is a really good looking cat, and knows it!
