This is a scene that I’ve seen hundreds of times, even photographed it a few, but never caught it quite like this. Sammie, youngest daughter, had taken a similar picture on her phone, and I thought it was a good spot, under the Weeping Willow, to take the photograph. You can see a part of the old Mill Pond in Godmanchester, with the old Chinese Bridge that connects Island Hall with the island in the background.
