At this time of year I’ve become accustomed to thinking about a retreat-cum-pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. Sadly, with the way my health has been in recent weeks, I don’t think it’s going to happen this year; unless things improve dramatically and I go a bit later in the year. It’ll be a shame not to go in spring-time though, as I usually do. This is a photograph of the High Altar in the shrine church I took while I was there last year.
