I have been the fortunate recipient of a wonderful gift. My daughter’s partner has treated himself to a new camera, and very generously given me his old one — a Nikon D40x. Thank you Dave, it’s very much appreciated.
The picture below was taken in the garden this week. This shrub flowers early in spring, and has blooms on it for much of the spring and summer — but they always look best early in the year. I just liked the way this strand from the shrub had curled itself around the wood of the Buddleia next to it. I have no idea what the shrub is called; we’ve always known them as Bachelors Button.
