I was trying to clear a part of a big patch of weeds in the garden the other day; and I came across this. It’s a Periwinkle of one variety or another. I knew they were pretty hardy, and like to be shaded, but I was really surprised to see it in full bloom in this patch of weeds. I don’t know what they are, but they’re those really sticky things that grow so easily and can quickly take over a patch of garden. The Periwinkle is a wonderful delicate flower; and now I now very hardy too.
