This must have been quite an event to witness: On Saturday, October 30, 2010, the Opera Company of Philadelphia brought together over 650 choristers to perform the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah in the middle of a downtown Macy’s. It was one of the Knight Foundation’s “Random Acts of Culture”.

how wonderful to see a large store full of all sorts of people, singing their heads off!!!and bringing the King of Kings into people’s minds and hearts.
It’s really good to see the ‘flashmob’ idea being put to such a wonderful use.
