While browsing some of the videos on YouTube, I came across this amazing rendition of one of my favourite hymns. Just As I Am, sung by Brian Doersken — click here to see Brian’s website. That’s Brian in the picture above.
I can rarely sing this hymn without at least a tear in my eye. I’m reminded that there’s no need for me to pretend with God, no need for airs and graces, I can approach him just as I am, with all of my fears and doubts. And he will welcome me; pardon me; cleanse me; and relieve me. That’s just so incredibly awesome!
