Treasures of Lambeth Palace Library

Lambeth Palace Library is one of the earliest public libraries in England, founded in 1610 under the will of Archbishop Richard Bancroft. In celebration of its 400th anniversary, the Library is opening a fascinating exhibition to the public in the Great Hall of Lambeth Palace from 17 May – 23 July 2010. The Archbishop of Canterbury and Lambeth Palace Library staff welcome you to this unique event.

I’m going to try and go to see this exhibition while it’s going on. It’ll probably be towards the end, sometime in July, if I’m going to manage it.
